Subaru WRX Chooses Dunlop Sport Maxx RT Tires

Subaru has announced that they will outfit their 2015 WRX and WRX STI exclusively with Dunlop Sport Maxx RT tires.

The WRX will sport 235/45R17 tires, while the WRX STI will be fitted with 245/40R18 rubber.

Designed to provide impressive street performance, the Sport Maxx RT is a newer model in Dunlop’s tire lineup.

The RT, which stands for “Racing Technology”, incorporates a wide range of race inspired technology for enhanced braking, acceleration, cornering stability and overall performance.

According to Tara Foote, Dunlop brand manager, “With the Sport Maxx RT, we’ve incorporated technologies developed from Dunlop’s racing program for both exceptional grip and braking performance. Subaru’s choice of the Sport Maxx RT for its flagship high-performance vehicles is further evidence of this performance.”
