Radar Tires Dimax As-8

Overview

Styled after its predecessor, the Dimax R8+, the As-8 is a premium quality all-season passenger tire that makes your vehicle drive great and look even better. It can be used with performance cars, passenger cars as well as SUVs with no compromise in handling any of these vehicles.

The Dimax As-8 Radar Tires feature a soft asymmetric tread pattern with large lateral grooves that help maintain traction in wet conditions. This also provides an even wearing, long-lasting tread to the tire that has been rated UTQG: 600AA for exceptional wear.

The optimized tread compound technology used in the Radar Tires Dimax As-8 allows your vehicle to get more exceptional mileage and better performance. The asymmetric tread pattern allows better handling, cornering grip and greater traction in wet and dry conditions.

At high speed, these tires maintain grip thanks to their tread design and advanced sidewall stabilizer. But the softer tread pattern increases some of the road noise, but not by much – your overall comfort and drivability are still intact.

There are also a higher number of lateral sipes on the Radar Tires Dimax As-8 as compared to other products in this category, so your car hugs the road tightly in mud and light snow conditions (with careful driving). So it’s a check in the winter traction box as well.

The Radar Tires Dimax As-8 comes with a softer asymmetric tread pattern, and the tread compound allows even wearing tread. That means the tire will last you longer and will be durable in most weather conditions. It is available in several different sizes from 16” to 24” in two different load/speed ratings, namely H/V and W/Y.

The Radar Tires Dimax As-8 tires are cost-effective as well, starting from as low as $68 per tire.

Overall Thoughts

The Radar Tires Dimax As-8 is an all-season passenger tire geared for improved traction, accurate handling, and better mileage. If you’re looking for a tire that stands the test of seasons and want the best value for money, the Dimax As-8 is perfect for you.

You get a comfortable ride, as the tires help absorb the impact of bumps on the road. Plus, the increased mileage you get from the Dimax As-8’s gives you more confidence in your car.

They do well in the rain because of the tread pattern and lateral grooves, pushing out the water when you need it the most.

If you have deep snow in your area, you can expect your vehicle’s stability light to come on, but the tires certainly do well in icy, wet, and slushy conditions thanks to the sipes. You also have increased rolling resistance thanks to the asymmetric tread pattern.

They’re excellent tires for daily use, sports car or SUV – especially for the price point.

Price Range

The prices start as low as $68 per tire. Of course, the costs can vary with an increase in size, but you can be eligible for discounts if you buy from an authorized dealer. But don’t just go for a lower price from any supplier. Check if the dealer is providing the warranties that come with the Radar Tires Dimax As-8’s.

Warranty

Radar tires provide limited-time warranties to the original purchaser for replacement tires sold at authorized dealerships only. The warranties are applicable in the US alone.

The Radar Tires Mileage and Road Hazard warranties apply to Dimax As-8 tires and covers:

  • Workmanship and material defects in the tires
  • Road hazard replacement program
  • Premature tread wear

The mileage warranty is valid for 60,000 miles for H/V-rated vehicles and 50,000 miles for W/Y-rated vehicles. The tread warranty will be void unless the tires are rotated every 6000 to 8000 miles that ensure even wear, according to the manufacturer.
