Warranty

Kenda provides a limited tread warranty on the Klever LT A/P. Materials and workmanship are warranted for 4-years and includes free replacement during the first 10% of wear. A prorated amount is given for the remaining time period or down to the final 2/32 inch of tread depth.

  1. I had kenda klever 225/75r/16 on rear dually my motor home. They were only one year old with less than 15,000 miles when driving on highway heard loud noise and motor home shook i hit the brakes and pulled to side of road only to see both dually tires blown apart. Side walls were shredded. Waited for 10 hours for service to show up and put on 2 new tires on the old rims. I do have pictures. Could not see any thing wrong, no screws in face of tires.

  2. My son bought the Kenda Klever M/T tires size 35×12.5r17 shortly before driving to location Wedding. In the first 1000 miles he stopped to have his front end aligned and the tires re-balanced. No improvement. The tire where so rough riding he was convinced that the cords had broken, but he got home. I took it on a 2500 mile trip back in December to pickup a camper in the mid-west. Trip out was fine a little bumpy and the steering pulling to the left, but we made it. The Camper was 3000 lbs, I check the tires and max pressure was 65 lbs. I though these were load range E, but with further research I discovered there are 2 load range Es, one E1 the original, max psi 80 and a new E2 load range with max psi at 65. This is what these tires are, so 1000 miles later, at 70 mph I had an explosion in the right rea. By the time I got it stopped, almost a panic stop, the entire sidewalls were gone with just the steel cord remaining. (I do have a picture). AAA would tow it home but I had to find my own way (COVID-19 restriction). AAA would give me a free rental, but the closest was greater than 50 miles to a Hertz. Fortunately, the two driver showed up carried me to NTB (closing in an hour) replaced the tire and $500 later, I was on my way. Anyone want 3 almost new tires?
