Cooper Tire Launches Facebook Road Trip Promo

March 2013 – Cooper tires has announced a new contest that is designed to give its Facebook fans a chance to winfree gas for an entire year. The contest is named “My Every Day Road Trip”, and it runs from March 1-29, 2013.

Cooper invites its fans to share and submit videos, photos or stories about their favorite road trips over theyears. According to Hal Gardner, Cooper vice president of marketing communications and market intelligence, “Coopertires are crafted for life’s every day road trips and we’ve long heard from dedicated fans about their dailyjourneys. We’re excited to create an open forum for people to share their stories.”

If you need a little inspiration to get started, Cooper has put up two featured videos that takes a look at howCooper tires has played a role in the lives of two different drivers.

All winners will be selected based on originality, creativity, compelling content and enthusiasm for Coopertires. What are the prizes?

Top written story: $100 free gas card for one week

Top photo: $500 free gas card for one month

Top Videos: 5 finalists will all win a set of four Cooper tires and advance to the finals, where Facebook fanswill then vote for their favorite video and help determine the overall winner.

The winning video entrant will receive a $5,000 gas card for one year.

In addition, Cooper is giving away Road Trip Kits for those who vote in the sweepstakes beginning April 9th. Youcan enter once per day and receive an entry form to fill out and have a chance to win a kit containing:

  • $100 Cooper Tire auto service
  • $50 gas card
  • $50 iTunes gift card
  • Cooper gear
