Cooper Discoverer True North Tire Review & Rating
The Cooper Discoverer True North is the company’s new for 2018 performance winter tire. The Cooper True North has been engineered to provide optimal traction, handling and stability in all types of rough winter driving conditions.
Cooper has developed a unique tread compound that is designed to remain flexible and pliable in colder temperatures for increased performance and a smoother overall ride quality.
The True North also features Cooper’s Weather-Master designation for superior winter driving and handling on snow, ice, slush, freezing rain and sleet. Cooper has stated that this model has been created to deliver touring tire responsiveness in addition to its winter driving capabilities.
Cooper will be releasing 17 sizes beginning in the fall of 2018. We will have a full review on this new tire as soon as it becomes available.

These tire are awesome! Fantastic on ice and snow! I have them on my 2019 Equinox awd and I definitely would review them as a 5
The Discoverer M&S has a much deeper and more agressive tread
This new tire appears to be for city dwellers that never see deep snow and only need minimal snow traction
I’ve had these tires for a week and am already in love. They are smooth and quiet compared to my last tires. I live in Alaska and snow has not hit where I’m at yet but I’m excited to see how these handle in the snow.
Let me know how they do in snow and on ice. Also how noisy are they at highway speeds.thanks
