VW Selects Continental Tires As OE On 3 Models

Volkswagen A.G. has announced the selection of Continental Tire for original equipment fitment on three of its vehicles; the Golf 7, CC and the Beetle.

According to Continental, the ContiEcoContact 5 and ContiPremiumContact will be used on the Golf 7 that utilize 15 and 16 inch sizes.

The VW CC with 17 inch wheels will be fitted with the ContiSportContact 5 and ContiEcoContact 5.

Finally, the Beetle and its 20 inch wheels will see the ContiSportContact 5 as its OE tire of choice.

Jörg Göner, manager, automotive engineering, for Cont’s Volkswagen group states the Volkswagen chose our tires because we satisfy the Wolfsburg-based company’s high expectations and performance specification with our premium products.
