The Laredo HD/H is Uniroyal’s highway all-season tire designed for pickups, SUV’s and all types of commercial trucks and vans. Used as original equipment on a number of vehicle applications, the HDH is also popular as a replacement model as well.
A tougher all-season tread compound that is M+S rated utilizes Uniroyal TrU-Form technology that enhances tread life by providing more even treadwear and maintaining equal stress along the contact patch.
A continuous center rib increases stability and creates added steering response, which is a real plus for this tire. Expect excellent dry traction and cornering grip from this tire, something that is also among the best in its class. Wet handling is increased due to the four circumferential grooves and added lateral grooves. The tire is also siped to provide biting edges when driving in light snow.
Inside the tire you will find two steel belts and two polyester carcass plies for added strength and durability. A Load Range E rating allows you to haul heavier loads or pull bigger trailers. Uniroyal includes a 50,000 mile tread guarantee that is among the better warranties for commercial grade tires.

Overall Thoughts
This HD/H from Uniroyal offers excellent dry pavement traction to go with equally impressive cornering grip. It is among the best for any commercial grade truck/suv tire. The ride is smooth and this tire rides very quietly, something that surprised us to discover. Treadlife is also better than you might expect and it comes with an E load rating.
The biggest complaint for this model has got to be its poor performance in winter weather conditions. Deep snow and ice is something that is problematic for this tire, and an area that is also mentioned time after time in driver reviews and ratings. The bottom line is that this tire is not a winter tire.
Overall, the Uniroyal HD/H would be a great tire if it were not for its poor winter weather handling. That said, if winter driving is not a big issue where you live, then this is a very good choice in commercial quality all-season truck/SUV tires.

Warranty
Uniroyal provides a 6-year or 50,000 mile tread warranty on the HD/H. Tire uniformity is guaranteed for one-year or the first 2/32 inch of wear.
Materials and workmanship are warranted for 6-years and include free tire replacement during the first year or first 2/32 inch of wear. A prorated amount is given for the remaining time period or down to the final 2/32 inch of tread depth.
