Sears Launches Worst Pothole Contest

Feb 2105 – Think you have the worst potholes in town? If so, Sears wants to know about it. Sears Auto Centers are running a contest through March 7, 2015 to find the city with the worst potholes.

The contest, called the #PotholeProbs, asks people to snap a photo of the worst potholes in their town and share their pics on social media. What is the “reward” for the city with the worst potholes? An exclusive deal on alignment, steering and suspension services that no other city will receive.

“Whether it’s an alignment or helping you repair or replace a tire or wheel rim, the team at Sears Auto Center locations nationwide wants to be the place for solutions to pothole-related problems,” said Norman Miller, president, Sears Automotive.

“This program not only is a fun way to bring to light an often frustrating problem, but it also is helping cities nationwide identify potholes so drivers can avoid these problem areas and avoid damage to their vehicles, all while improving fuel efficiency and saving money. And Sears Auto is conveniently open seven days a week and always provides free alignment checks to customers.”

If you would like to submit your photo you can share them on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook by including your city name and tagging #PotholeProbs. The city with the most votes/photos of their potholes will be the winner.

Sears will announce the “winning” city for worst potholes on March 8. All local Sears Auto Centers in that city/area will get an alignment special for $49.99 (regularly $84.99). Residents will also get 10% off RoadHandler tires, as well as other steering and suspension services.
