The Nokian Hakkapeliita 7, which is offered exclusively from Discount Tire, is designed to deliver exceptional winter weather traction and handling for all types of coupes, family sedans and minivans.

Nokian uses a unique winter tread compound that contains high amounts of silica, natural rubber and rapeseed oil. The result is a tread compound that provides excellent grip under the most extreme winter conditions, while also providing increased wet traction and better overall tread wear.

The Hakkapeliitta 7 includes a number of features such as Noikian’s wedge-shaped corners on the tread that allows the tire to navigate slush covered pavement as well as any winter tire sold today. In addition, added air pockets and cushions effectively reduce impacts from potholes and uneven pavement for enhanced ride comfort.

3D sipes around the tread and the added silica give this model increased traction on wet, slush and icy road surfaces, which is an area this tire excels at. Another nice feature is the winter safety indicators around the tire that let you know at a glance at how much tread is left to safely drive in winter conditions. Once the snowflake symbol has worn off, you know it’s time to replace the tires.
