The Nexen CP662 all-season tire is designed to provide solid year round traction and handling to go along with a comfortable ride. Built for drivers of sport coupes and sedans, the CP662 is also very easy on the wallet when it comes to cost.
An all-season tread compound and symmetric tread pattern combine to enhance dry and wet traction. Wider shoulder tread blocks and the straight center rib block increase cornering grip and add high speed stability, while enhancing steering response. The tire’s lateral and rounded groove design work together in reducing braking distance and making for a more quiet ride, which is an area mentioned in frequent driver reviews on the tire.

Overall Thoughts
The CP662 has been around for a few years now and provides pretty good overall performance for the low price. It works well on today’s smaller coupes and sedans that are used as everyday drivers. Cornering grip is better than many budget tires, and the steering response provides good feel.
As an all-season tire you can expect decent light snow drivability, but deeper snow and ice can be an issue. Tread life could be a bit better, but when you factor in the budget price on this tire it is not that bad.
