Nankang N890 Tire Review & Rating

The Nankang N890 is the company’s sporty SUV and pickup tire that is designed to provide high performance traction and handling, while also delivering a good level of comfort.

The all-season tread compound offers year round dry and wet traction for everyday road conditions. Solid rounded shoulder blocks and v-shaped grooves enhance dry cornering grip and overall tire stability throughout the speed range.

Driving on rain covered roads and highways is made easier through the angled siping around the tread contact patch along with dual circumferential grooves. They reduce the risk of hydroplaning and keep you safer on the road.

Inside the tire you will find steel belted construction for added strength and durability, as well as more even treadwear. Nankang has also built-in an added rim protector to prevent damage to expensive custom wheels. This model is available in both H and V-speed ratings.

Overall Thoughts

The N890 not only features an attractive tread design, but it provides some impressive handling and cornering performance as well. You’ll also find it gives a comfortable ride for those trips down the interstate and comes without all the road noise. Of course, there’s also the lower price you’ll find on this model compared to similar brands. We just wish they would put out more sizes. Overall, we like this tire and feel that Nankang has produced a winner.
