Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC Tire Review & Rating
A redesigned version of the original Baja Claw model, the Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC has been built to up the ante on rough and rugged terrain and to handle a bit better on the street.
The tire comes with directional sidebiters to provide increased grip across a wide range of surfaces while also providing an enhanced level of puncture resistance. When driving on muddy roads the deep shoulder lugs and integrated concave blades offer a high level of grip to ensure stability as well.
For rocky terrain the Baja Claw TTC’s have a special T5 tread compound, de-coupling elements and multi-angle siping for better traction, protection, and durability.
The tires are highly flexible and are at home both on-road and off-road. They can be found in 15 to 17 inch sizes and include a limited tread warranty.

Overall Thoughts
The Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC is a nice improvement over the original. The tire performs well on dirt, gravel, rock, sand and mud. You’ll also find they provide solid performance on-road, including snow.
Like many off-road tires they have more noise than standard models, however, this is only a small flaw in what is an otherwise well designed set of tires. Overall, the tires are affordable and when you consider the high level of performance that they offer they make for a good choice.

Mickey Thompson provides a limited tread warranty on the Baja Claw TTC. Tire uniformity is guaranteed for the first 2/32 inch of wear. Materials and workmanship are warranted for 6-years and includes free replacement during the first 2/32 inch of wear. A prorated amount is given for the remaining time period or down to the final 2/32 inch of tread depth.
