Maxxis Introduces New Bighorn AT Tire
March 2013 – Maxxis Tires has recently added the new Bighorn A/T to its tire lineup.
Engineered with a wider footprint, the tire also sports increased traction and a smoother ride due to improvedshock absorption capabilities on rock, mud, dirt and snow covered terrains.
Maxxis has said that this tire is truly an all-terrain tire. It features a sporty appearance due in part to itsraised white letters. The tire’s massive shoulder lugs further protect the sidewalls against damaging punctures,cuts and other abrasions.
The staggered lugs around the shoulder and deeper tread blocks are designed to enhance traction and increaseclean out performance. The Bighorn is also pinned for studs for added winter weather traction.
It was announced that sizes will be available from 15-20 inches.
