Lexani LX-Thirty Tire Review & Rating

Built to deliver high-performance all-season traction and handling, the Lexani LX-Thirty is well-suited for all types of crossovers and luxury SUV’s. With sizes ranging up to a massive 32 inches, the LX-Thirty offers drivers a number of options when it comes to plus fitments as well.

Lexani uses a stronger all-season tread compound and W-shaped directional tread pattern that is designed to provide exceptional dry and wet traction throughout the speed range.

A solid center rib around the tire and wide semi-solid shoulder blocks help provide quicker and more responsive steering control, while also increasing cornering stability and performance. This has been mentioned by other drivers as being a real positive for this model.

Dual longitudinal grooves and wider lateral grooves combine to enhance grip on wet pavement and reduce the risks of hydroplaning for added safety. The LX-Thirty is M+S rated, however, traction on snow and ice is not one of this tire’s strongpoints as you might expect.

Lexani uses European technology to lower the road noise and give this tire added comfort on the highway. The ride is quiet for the most part and for a UHP tire, the ride is comfortable.

This model sports a 320 AA UTQG rating, and is offered in a wide range of 18-32 inch sizes. All sizes feature either a V or W-speed rating, and Lexani provides a limited tread warranty as well.

Pros

  • Very good dry and wet traction
  • Cornering stability
  • Quiet ride on most surfaces
  • Value-priced

Cons

  • Winter performance
  • Treadlife could be increased

Overall Thoughts

For crossover and SUV owners looking to add more performance without breaking the bank, the LX-Thirty fits the bill in most areas. This tires’ dry and wet grip, in addition to its cornering stability and steering response, is very good among other tires in this class.

Our biggest issues with this model would be its poor winter traction and handling, which is really to be expected for the most part, in addition to its treadlife. Although not terrible, you may find it to be a bit lower than hoped for, especially if you’re a more spirted driver.

Overall, when you factor in the lower cost of this model compared to counterparts from Continental, Michelin and other big name brands, the LX-Thirty is not a bad choice. It’s also an excellent pick for anyone looking for plus fitments for their vehicle.
