The Solus Xpert KH20 from Kumho is engineered to provide all-season driving performance to go along with a budget-friendly low price. Designed for drivers of coupes and sedans, the KH20 blends confident year round traction with a smooth and more comfortable ride quality.

The all-season tread compound and symmetric tread pattern combine with Kumho’s ESCOT technology to give the tread maximum contact with the road surface, as well as a lower rolling resistance.The result is increased handling and better fuel efficiency. Larger tread blocks around the shoulders and a solid center rib enhance cornering grip and increase steering response and feel.

Driving in wet weather is made easier due to the four circumferential grooves and multiple lateral grooves that expel more water from under the tire and reduce the risk of hydroplaning. Added full-depth sipes around the tread provide biting edges to give you added wet traction and enhanced grip on light snow and ice as well.

Inside the tire you will find two steel belts that are nylon reinforced to add strength and durability to the tire at higher speeds. They also provided added comfort and promote more even tread wear. Overall Thoughts

Kumho has come up with a nice tire in the Solus Xpert KH20. The performance of this tire on dry, wet, and even snow covered pavement is very good. Handling and cornering is equally impressive. The tires go where you steer them without issue. The ride is very smooth and comfortable.

We would like to see a little less road noise, although to be fair it is not that distracting and certainly not enough to have to crank up the radio. For anyone on a tighter budget, the KH20 features a more affordable price. Overall, this is a solid all-season tire that features a lower budget-friendly price.

Warranty

The KH20 comes with Kumho’s limited tread warranty. Tire uniformity is guaranteed for the first year or first 2/32 inch of treadwear. Materials and workmanship are guaranteed for 6-years and include free replacement during the first 2/32 inch of wear. A prorated amount is given for the remaining time period or until the final 2/32 inch of tread depth.
