Kenda Vezda Touring A/S KR205 Tire Review & Rating

The Kenda Vezda Touring A/S KR205 is set for a 2018 release and will replace the current KR30, which has been a popular lower priced touring all-season choice for several years now.

Designed for use on all types of luxury coupes and sedans, the Vezda Touring A/S features Kenda’s unique proprietary compounding technology and specially tuned asymmetric tread pattern.

This tread design and optimized tread pitch sequencing is responsible for reducing road noise and adding to ride comfort. In terms of performance and comfort, Kenda used the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus and Kumho Solus TA71 as a benchmark in testing this new model.

According to a Kenda spokesman, the tire will be priced roughly 20 to 25 percent below Tier 1 competitors in this sector, while offering comparable performance in most attributes and superior in others, especially in wet handling and braking.

Kenda will be offering an initial release of 32 sizes in the Vezda Touring A/S that range from a 195/65R15 to a 255/45R19. All models will sport either an H or V-speed rating. A 65K mile tread warranty will also be included on all sizes.

We will have a full review on this model as soon as it becomes available.

  1. Terrible tires… Drove for 5 months and both back tires had bubbles in them. Hadn’t hit or scrapped anything in that time period. Brought my car to the dealership and they told me “they aren’t the best on the highway.” Company did nothing to help with this problem. Would not recommend to anyone

  2. BOUGHT ALL NEW TIRES 6 MONTHS AGO….3 OUT THE 4 TIRES THE SIDE WALLS BLEW OUT….THESE TIRES ARE DANGEROUS CONTACTED MANUFACTURER MULTIPLE TIMES AND GOT NO ANSWER..DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES IVE BOUGHT REPLACEMENTS AND SAME ISSUE….THIS HAS NOW COST ME WAY MORE THAN IF I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT QUALITY TIRES FROM THE JUMP..THEY ARE CHEAP AND GARBAGE

    1. Daniel –

I work for Kenda – we work very hard to understand product issues and honor all product verified warranties. We have never had documentation of product failures as you describe – almost every tire such as you describe is analyzed as a road hazard.
We would be happy to discuss with you, analyze the tires and provide warranty service once confirmed – please send an email with your contact information to MWhite@kendausa.com – if you have the details of your communication with an Authorized Kenda Retailer, that will assist – they are all located on kendatire.com under automotive.

      1. I have been using these tires for the last year or so. havn’t had any issues so far. They ‘re quiet on the road giving you a nice firm feel and ride and perform well beyond expectations. for the price you pay for these tires they exceed expectations!

  3. I have a set on my 2007 Chrysler Sebring. Handle great, quiet, smoother than factory Bridgestone tires. Lost about 2 mpg economy though. Had a tiny amount of snow/ice use so far, did well. Happy overall with them.

  4. . too bad nobody sells it. came with my 2019 mazda. replaced one damaged in a pothole. $228 bat mazda dealer . double what it is worth. aimed to buy a chevy, but it had start/stop technology, worst idea since the Jugo. so be it.

  5. Went to Kenda’s website to get a look at this tire and they don’t even have it on their website. Very weird, and didn’t leave a good first impression to a potential new customer

    1. Update-
The tire didn’t show up on their website when I searched by vehicle. This time I searched by tire size and it did show up. Website didn’t show both tire sizes that my car could be fitted with from the manufacturer.
