The Kelly Charger GT combines high performance all-season traction with a smooth and comfortable ride for drivers of all types of coupes, sedans, minivans and smaller SUV’s. With its sporty appearance, the Charger GT also features a lower price point that will suit most any budget.
An all-season tread compound is M+S rated and designed to provide increased traction on dry and wet road surfaces. Larger independent shoulder blocks enhance dry handling and cornering grip, while also increasing steering response and feel.
Two circumferential grooves and unique z-shaped grooves increase performance on wet pavement and reduce the risk of hydroplaning. These grooves also provide added grip in winter weather conditions when snow begins covering the road.
Inside the tire you will find two steel belts for added strength and stability at higher speeds. A polyester radial cord body increases ride comfort and promotes more even tread wear. Kelly offers sizes ranging from 14-17 inches, as well as a 50,000 mile tread guarantee.

For drivers looking for a good all-around higher performing all-season tire, the Charger GT is an ok choice if budget is a major factor in your decision. You can expect to find more than adequate year-round traction, including light snow. Cornering and steering response are predictable, and the tire delivers a fairly comfortable ride on most road surfaces.
The big issue we have with this tire is road noise. It tends to get noisier than many other tires as it wears, which is evidenced by plenty of driver reviews saying the same thing.
Overall, we give it a rank in the lower half of its class. There are far better choices in the budget performance all-season class.
