Goodyear Eagle GT II Tire Review & Rating
A year-round tire that is suited for all types of sport coupes, sedans, SUV’s and performance pickups, the Eagle GT II from Goodyear is designed to provide dependable traction and stability in all weather conditions.
The tire uses an aggressive independent block tread design combined with a stable shoulder tread block that is separated by full-depth lateral grooves to deliver enhanced traction and grip on dry or wet pavement, as well as provide excellent cornering and driving stability.
Even in light snow the Eagle GT II holds its own and much of this is down to the siped center tread blocks that offer increased stability in poor weather.
Inside the tire are twin steel belts that are reinforced with nylon for added strength and durability. The polyester cord body plies offer enhanced comfort over long distances. Available in 20 inch sizes and either an H or V-speed rating, Goodyear also includes a 6 year workmanship and uniformity warranty.

Overall Thoughts
With a high quality and attractive design, the Eagle GT II provides solid traction in just about any road condition. Yes, they can even handle light snow and ice, however deep snow or particularly poor road conditions will warrant a more winter specific tire.
That being said, Goodyear Eagle GT II’s have great all round performance with stability, responsive steering and ride comfort that matches up well with most tires in its price category.
While we would like to see a mileage warranty, for the most part treadlife is decent, although we would like to see it be just a little longer lasting. Overall the Eagle GT II ranks in the middle half of its class.

Warranty
Goodyear provides a limited tread life warranty on the Eagle GT II. Tire uniformity is guaranteed for 6-months or the first 2/32 inch of wear.
Materials and workmanship are warranted for 6-years and call for free replacement during the first year or first 2/32 inch of wear. A prorated amount is given for the remaining time period or down to the final 2/32 inch of tread depth.
Goodyear also includes their 30-Day Test Drive guarantee in which you can exchange them for another Goodyear model if you are not completely satisfied. This tire also comes with a 2-year roadside warranty.
