Goodyear Assurance MaxLife Tire Review & Rating
Using their unique TredLife Technology that is designed to enhance the life of the tread, you can expect up to 30% more miles over their standard all-season tire, which Goodyear warrants for 85,000 miles.
Other features include a built-in treadwear gauge that shows you precisely how much tread remains on the tire before requiring replacement, are among some the additions that Goodyear has created to make it easier on drivers to know how the tire is wearing.
The Goodyear Assurance MaxLife will be available in a number of 15-20 inch sizes, with all sizes carrying an 85K mile warranty. We will have a full review on the MaxLife as soon as it becomes available.

Papa Lar – should have done your research yourself. Two different tires. BFG is made for specific cars as yours. If you had a soccer mom car, Goodyear Assurance would have been your pick. Don’t blame anyone else or the tire for your inability to make a proper decision.
Just bought one for an interim tire. When my new car tires wear out I will buy Michelin, which have always out performed any tire I ever bought. I drive 50000 miles a year.
I have a positive assessment of the tires. I put them on my daughters 2014 Camry SE V6, 235 /45 R18. They have been outstanding tires. They do great on hwy and are quiet. The ride is softer than the OEM tires and they do better in the rain than expected. I don’t know about snow and hopefully she won’t find out. we’ve had them a year and they have been great.
These tires aren’t even in the same category. One is an Ultra High Performance tire and the other is a Standard Touring Tire. One will last you 40k and the other 80k. It simply depends on what you are looking for. If you have the money to drop on tires every two years, good for you. But for some who don’t plan on driving the road course at Watkins Glen, this type of tire isn’t needed.
Purchased (4) Max Life at nearby BMW Dealership in September when a tire blew out unexpectedly. Recommend by the service agent since it can’t be repaired and Goodyear no longer carry them. After a few hundred miles, i complained to that dealership how it rides very noisy and uncomfortable. A month ago I was driving in the snow at reasonable speed and Max-life wouldn’t bite at breaking under 10mph. I had enough, so with less than 2k miles I replaced them with BFG G-Forced Comp 2 a/s UHP. I’m so happy that I did. What a waste of money, time and aggravation. Worse tires ever purchased in my 50 years of driving. Lesson learned, no longer will I ever buy tires from a dealership – even in an emergency.
Thank you for this reveiw. I think you just made uo my mind because i was actually debating between the 2 tires.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, well reflect upon what you’ve said and will hopefully update this review down the line. I see youve switched to the BFGoodrich g-Force Comp-2 A/S, which features new high silica cold weather all-season tread compound offering increased traction, shorter braking and faster acceleration over the older Super Sport A/S.
