Made by Goodyear, Fierce Instinct VR tires are designed for sporty cars and offer consistent on road driving in both wet and dry conditions.

The tread design ensures that they handle well on wet and dry road surfaces without losing performance. A continuous, solid center rib allows for reliable driving and quicker steering response, while twin circumferential grooves dispel water quickly to provide strong traction and grip on wet road surfaces.

While the tires are best used in the summer months they do have an All-Season Zone with biting tread block edges for winter driving, although bad winter conditions are not recommended.

The tires can be found in 15 to 17 inch sizes and Fierce includes a 50,000 mile tread warranty as well.

Budget tires can be a bit of hit and miss in regards to how well they will perform, and while the Instinct VR does come at a budget price they also drive consistently.

Good on board technology ensures that they can handle wet and dry conditions while remaining pretty durable, although there have been reports of excessive tread wear around 25,000 miles. That being said, the tire carries a solid warranty.

Our only area of concern is traction and handling in rough winter weather. It’s just not built to be a winter tire, which is pretty much to be a given with this class of tires. Expect to find very good handling and cornering performance on this model. It’s stable and provides a good feel on most any road surface.

Overall, for a cheaper ultra-high performance tire the Fierce VR is reliable and delivers solid performance for the money.

Warranty

Fierce provides a 50,000 mile tread warranty on the Instinct ZR. Tire uniformity is warranted for 6-months or the first 2/32 inch of wear. Materials and workmanship are guaranteed for 6-years and include free tire replacement during the first year or first 2/32 inch of wear. A prorated amount is given for the remaining time period or down to the final 2/32 inch of tread depth.
