Cooper Cobra Radial GT Tire Review & Rating
When it comes to outfitting your muscle car or truck, the Cobra Radial G/T from Cooper Tires is a popular choice. Just like the BFGoodrich Radial T/A, the Cobra GT sports all-season performance and classic raised white letters that are still as popular today as they were in the 60’s and 70’s.
The tire design features an aggressive tread pattern and a flat tread profile that enhances the overall footprint shape. The result is improved handling and more even tread wear.

Don’t you believe it… 50k mileage ain’t gonna happen, Cooper cobras performed as claimed. I’m on my second set on an 88 Chevy Silverado 1/2 TON 2 WHEEL DRIVE. GOT 26K. ON the first set may 30k. On my current set. Performance tires are soft for a reason… handling.
I JUST BOUGHT A SET of cobra’s .
i dont plan on mounting them till next spring or so ,
they are in my barn loft covered up with vasaline on the bead, to keep it soft,
Was hoping for Dean Stingers Or better Kelly Charger ss, tires.
Their is a market for glass belted tires on some hybrid./elec cars, If you do it right ,
they weigh 1/3 less than the steel case. but wont hold up to big engine power.
It was important for me to find a set made this year . a 5 yr old tire IS Okay . But for half the price.
my set was made the 18th week of this year 2020.
