The Carlisle Sure Trail LT Trailer tire is built to be a reliable, DOT approved, bias-ply trailer tire that is designed to fit a wide range of trailers and be suitable for use on the highway. This Carlisle trailer tire was developed to have a longer lifespan, reduced rolling resistance and a more consistent tire wear, as well as performing at a higher level than similar trailer tires.

Made from a long-lasting rubber tread compound and featuring a wraparound tread design, gives these tires are safer, durable, longer-lasting performance. Carlisle Sure Trail LT Trailer tires are also rugged, give a smoother ride and offer good puncture resistance when travelling short or longer distances.

C to F load ranges are available, which means these trailer tires are suitable for horse trailers, utility trailers, cargo trailers and boat trailers. Currently, this model is available in a 14.5 inch size.

Carlisle Sure Trail LT tires are affordable, high quality tires that perform well in most conditions. Their heavier weight and stiffer sidewalls mean these tires are durable and sturdy enough to withstand substantial punishment and the demands of today’s trailer owners.

On the downside, we’ve heard a few tire owners complain that there is not enough tread depth on these tires and that they tend to wear out after 3-4 years. That said, I’d much rather at home and have to replace the tire because it wore out than be out on the highway and have to replace it because it suddenly blew out.

Overall, these Carlisle trailer tires have been used by many people for long distance journeys and shown to withstand the pressures they undergo during these trips. If the available size fits your usage requirements, this tire would be a good option.
