A symmetric tread design with large rectangular tread blocks provide traction on dry and wet road surfaces with responsive steering and handling. Indeed, this is further reinforced with lateral and circumferential tread grooves to avoid hydroplaning and provide increased wet grip.
Bridgestone utilizes twin steel belts that are secured with spiral wrapped nylon and a polyester cord body to add more strength and durability to the tread. This also helps increase handling capabilities at higher speeds.

Handling on wet pavement is very good and the tires will not slide around on you unless you push it well beyond its limits. Ride comfort is yet another strong point on this tire.
On the other hand, treadlife has been an issue for most drivers. The 140 UTQG rating bemoans the fact that you’re not going to get too many seasons of use before replacement becomes necessary. Also, don’t even think about driving on this model when temps drop below 40 degrees. It doesn’t like the cold weather.
