The BFGoodrich Commercial T/A All Season 2 tire builds off the foundation of the original Commercial T/A All Season, by adding new technology that is designed to enhance its durability, tread life and overall performance. Created for use on light trucks, commercial vans and fleet vehicles that haul and tow heavy loads, this BFG model is built for rugged heavy-duty use on an everyday basis.

A commercial grade all-season tread compound and aggressive tread pattern help provide solid traction and braking on dry road surfaces. BFGoodrich uses twin steel belts with a 2-ply polyester carcass that deliver the kind of toughness you look for in a heavy-duty tire, whether on the highway or on those rough gravel roads. We’ve heard from drivers who have mentioned how durable the sidewalls on the tire are and how well they stand up to everyday use in their own reviews of this model.

The tire’s continuous center rib design give it more nimble handling than you might expect. Four circumferential grooves evacuate water away from the tire on wet pavement, as well as aiding in reducing the risk of hydroplaning.

BFG has added Cool Wedge inserts in the shoulders to help in reducing heat build-up, which is an issue for many tires in this class. There are a number of good tires in the heavy-duty light truck and commercial van class, and the Commercial TA 2 ranks in the upper half. It handles itself well under heavy loads on both dry and wet roads, while providing a ride that is smoother and quieter than many competitor tires.

Traction and braking on snow and ice is about the only area where we could find issue with on this tire. Even then, this is an area that plagues most every all-season tire. If you drive in severe winter weather for much of the winter you likely already know this.

Overall, the Commercial T/A 2 is a nice improvement over the original and one that you should be pleased with.

Warranty

BFGoodrich provides a limited tread warranty on the Commercial T/A 2. Tire uniformity is guaranteed for the first year or first 2/32 inch of wear. Materials and workmanship are warranted for 6-years and include free replacement during the first year or first 2/32 inch of wear. A prorated amount is given for the remaining time period or down to the final 2/32 inch of tread depth.
