BFGoodrich Commercial T/A Tire Review & Rating

The All Season Commercial T/A from BFGoodrich is built to provide serious year-round traction, even in harsh winter weather road conditions. Designed for drivers of light-medium duty pickups and vans, the Commercial TA will not only haul heavier loads, but is also engineered to deliver a more comfortable ride quality and longer tread life.

A tough all-season tread compound features a computer optimized footprint that works together to distribute stress and enhance tire performance and tread life. BFG has added a Cool Wedge shoulder insert into the tire that provides added cooling to further increase the treadlife.

Not only does this tire perform well on dry or wet pavement, but is also RMA rated for use in severe winter weather conditions. The tread is designed for driving on or off-road, and features a more puncture resistant tread carcass. Ride comfort is enhanced through a reinforced two-ply polyester design that absorbs road bumps.

Inside the tire you will find two steel belts with anylon reinforcement for added strength and durability in hauling heavy loads. BFGoodrich includes a 50,000 mile tread guarantee, and all sizes are E load rated.

Overall Thoughts

The All Season Commercial T/A displays solid overall performance. This is a tire that works well when you are hauling heavy loads or using it on your commercial van or truck. It provides very good traction in dry, wet or winter weather conditions. Ice traction would be our only issue, but it is still acceptable.

Steering is responsive, and overall tire stability throughout the speed range is excellent. In addition, the ride is more comfortable and quiet than you might expect from this model. Treadlife is long lasting and BFG backs it up with a 50,000 mile guarantee.

Overall, BFG has done a pretty good job in engineering this model. It’s one we can definitely recommend.

Warranty

BFGoodrich provides a 6-year or 50,000 mile tread warranty on this model. The mileage warranty is reduce by one-half if different sizes are used in rear than in front. Tire uniformity is guaranteed for one-year or the first 2/32 inch of wear.

Materials and workmanship are warranted for 6-years and include free replacement during the first year or first 2/32 inch of wear. A prorated amount is given for the remaining time period or down to the final 2/32 inch of tread depth.
