A tire designed for SUV’s, pickups and crossover vehicles, the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus is made for environmentally and fuel saving driving while still delivering touring all-season performance and a comfortable ride.
A reduced rolling resistance and lighter weight means better fuel efficiency and an overall cleaner carbon footprint. With a silica-enhanced tread compound molded into an asymmetric tread design, the All Season Plus provides confident traction and grip in a variety of conditions including both wet and snow covered roads. To promote even tread wear the tires have a specially optimized rubber-to-void ratio as well as a uniform contact patch.
Performance when driving in wet conditions is also assured via the four wide circumferential grooves that get rid of water quickly and effectively. Finally, longitudinal sipes and high-density lateral sipes ensure winter driving and stability at high speeds.
Inside the tire are two high-tensile steel belts and a polyester cord body for added strength and durability. Sizes are available ranging from 16 to 22 inches. Pirelli also provides a 65,000 mile tread warranty.

Overall Thoughts
The latest environmental and eco-friendly tire from Pirelli, the Scorpion Verde All Season Plus offers consistent ride and driving performance without the excessive carbon emissions. Eco-friendly does not come at the expense of performance with these tires and although there can be some road noise around 50 mph, it certainly doesn’t detract from their overall benefits.
The tire offers dependable driving in all weather conditions and the lower rolling resistance increases fuel efficiency. While we liked the original model, this new updated version is even stronger. This model is also very comfortable to ride on, and treadlife has shown to be very good.
Overall, while the original Scorpion Verde All Season remains a very good tire, this Plus model is a step up and a real difference maker. If you’re looking to get the most performance and comfort out of your tires, this is the one to get. We put it on the same level as the Michelin Premier LTX, Continental LX20 and other top truck/SUV touring all-season tires. Highly recommended.

My 2021 dodge durango came with a set of Pirelli Scorpion verde all season tires. After 4 months and 7000 km the tires started having cracks all around the sidewall. I have contacted both the dealership and the tire manufacturer and both said that is not included in the warranty.. what a disappointment!. As this was my first experience with Pirelli tires, I decided to get rid of them and go with a different brand that I can trust and is safer on the road.
WOW…my 2013 ford edge came with Perelli Scorpion tires and that first pair I got 70k miles out of them ( could have gotten more mileage but the winter was coming) before replacing with a second set of scorpions and they look great. I rotated the tires every oil change and checked tire aliment every second oil change. When you are driving around 500-600 miles a week to work and home gotta keep those tires good. I’m looking to buy the plus 3 tires for my highlander, now trying to decide where to buy them.
Well not unlike other Florida GLK Mercedes owners this tire has been awful. I replaced a full set of Pirelli scorpion Verdes with one year use and was told oh you didn’t rotate enough… Ok now second set during Covid <10000 miles and my rear tires are bald. Hit rain and thought we would spin out especially on wet concrete highway. Front tires are fine. Rears are bald. I am done w Pirelli in Florida something else is amiss with these.
Bought 2 days ago. Smooth riding on dry pavement. Lite snow this AM. Totally useless and sliding all over the place. Should have bought Michelins like my previous set, they were excellent in occasional snow and even did 300 km in a storm when they were new no problem
Something is just not right with your review, looking at tires is one of the first things you look at when buying a used car! Something just doesnt add up that you didnt notice cupping and bad wear when you first looked at this vehicle!
We purchased a used 2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport a month ago with less than 23k miles on it. Terrible road noise noticed after we started driving it the first few days. The test drive did not occur under my normal driving conditions and with the radio on and us talking we didn’t hear anything unusual. Two days in I looked at the tires and they were AWFUL. Cupping and unevenness was HORRIBLE. Pissed first because the dealer should have noticed the issue but even more amazed at how quickly these tires needed replacing as they were the original tires. The dealership replaced the tires free of charge, of course, but I will never buy Perellis with my own money. Stay far away.
OMG that’s the exact same thing that happen to my Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus Tires I brought for my 2015 Range Rover SC out of the four there were three tires that cupped and had separated treads!!! I great looking tire but a waste of good hard earned money!!!
Started hearing a road noise at 20,000 miles on my 2018 Audi Q5. Dealer could not figure out where the sound was coming from and decided to rotate the wheels which had been done a few months prior. They learned that the noise was coming from the tires as the noise moved from the front to the back.
The dealership called Perielli customer service and wanted them to send all four tires to their facility for inspection. I now right?? Who does this?? Bottom line is the dealership is suggesting purchasing new a new set of tires. This is insane on a vehicle with 20,000 miles on these tires. I have decided to go with Michelins which I have on.my truck and wife’s CTS. Have never experienced problems Michelins and hear nothing but bad comments on Pirelli Verde series.
I have 4 cars before and only have to replace tires at50_60000 miles and it is all michelen.now with pirelli tires on my volvo with 31000 miles,told that it is time to replace tires.3 years old with 31000 miles,barely drove out because of stay home.How is this possible?drove my other cars to Houston,New Orleans,Savannah,Georgia.The farthest i have driven with pirelli tires is Orlando and Sarasota which are just an hour away.Does this make sense?
Same here, even guy from Discount Tire says the same thing. Pirelli on the Verde series have a propensity of failing early developing stress cracks in between threads along sidewalls. Happened to me with (3) 285/45-22, all Scorpion Verde’s! Switched to Michelins instead!
Hi Guys, simply avoid buying scorpion verde tyres of Pirelli. My tyres cracked and bulged in barely 5000 kms. Not at suitable for Indian highways and long distance driving. Also after sales service in India is pathetic.
Have them on my gle 250d. After 30k sipes are gone. Leaving just the main grooves. Funnily enough they don’t aquaplane as much now.
Same with me man I’ve never had a issue with them I’ve had them since 2018 put 72k mikes on them never had a issue!!
The Pirelli Scorpion Verde came on my wife’s new 2016 Grand Cherokee (265/50/20). The ride and wear have been great. They tires have 62,000 miles now, I’m checking this site because I’m thinking about another set. I’m surprised about the tire wear comments. We simply have not seen that on any of our four.
I purchased a new 2019 Mercedes GLC300 SUV in early January 2019. It came with Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season 235/55R/19 tires. It just turned 11,000 miles and on that day, I learned that my front tires are in urgent need of replacement and that the rear tires are still fairly good and not in need of immediate replacement. How can this be? How can new tires only last 11,000 miles and this be considered okay? My driving is city driving with the exception of one trip from Texas to Montana. I keep them properly inflated and have had them rotated once. I am recently retired and can’t afford to be replacing tires every 11,000 miles! What is the recourse for these bad tires? VERY displeased. I hadn’t given the tire life much thought, but I would expect them to be good for at least 30,000, or even more, miles.

Just bought a set of these on line they will be installed later today you guys are scaring me to death these tires havea wear rating of 720 how can the wear be so bad? At 720 you should get 5 years out of them at least
These are the original tires on my 2018 Mercedes GLC. They are TERRIBLE tires!! At 20,000 miles the road noise was noticeable and by 30,000 miles they need to be replaced. The grip on the road is also terrible. I’ve almost hydroplaned several times while going well under the speed limit. If you want a dependable, quiet tire don’t get these.
What tires did you end up getting to replace the Pirelli tires? I have a 2019 Mercedes GLC and now, at 11,000 miles, I was told I need new tires. Do you still have the GLC? Did Pirelli or Mercedes offer any suggestions or financial help with new tires? Are they saying this is normal to have to replace the tires so soon? I bought a set for my 2009 Acura MDX. I have just over 30,000 and will need to get new tires. Had them less than 2 years and barely over 30,000 miles, what a ripoff for the price. I will NEVER buy these again.
I have the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus 235/50R19 99 V on my 2018 Volkswagon Tiguan SEL Premium – I have 10,000 miles on the car and the Dealer and 2 stores told me they need to be replaced!!!!! They told me because I live in S. Florida these tires wear out faster……unbelievable…..the right front tire is actually bald…..I’ve had the alignment checked twice and everything great…I will never use Pirelli Tires again…….The car is leased and up in 4 months – <y next call is to file a complaint with Volkswagon Corp….
lynn if you had one front tire bald and the other not roughly the same baldness then its NOT THE TIRES its your front end. Ive been a ford mechanic for 30 years! what ever front end alignment shop is telling you your alignment is fine is a complete idiot! Find another shop!
I have Pirelli Scorpions on my Infiniti QX 60 love the ride but at less than 40,000 miles I have been told that I need tires ? I never expected to get anywhere near 60,000 – 65,000 miles but 40,000 miles is not acceptable. Most of my driving has been highway. My Father always taught me not to skimp on tires so I will be replacing them soon but not with Pirelli’s

I had these tires put on in April of 2018. I have 25K on them. They are cupping. Started showing a lot of wear at 20K.
My car is a VW Touareg 2014. I average 11000 ml.yr. City driver and HWY for vacations. Discount Tire tells me there is no warranty. Has anyone heard this? Would expect at least some credit. I routinely get documented rotations. Recent balance and alignment at dealership showed everything checked out good in that department.
Had these tires installed at the Mercedes dealership near me. Put them on a 2018 mercedes gle350. Have only had them on my SUV for 5 months and the whorn out thread bar is showing..didn’t even get 6,000 miles out of them and paid 1,400 for a set of crap tires. Live in palm beach so no off roading.Going to Costco’s to by michelins..have had a way better experience with them.
I have a GLC300 Mercedes and the dealer is telling me to replace my tires after a year and half of replacing! And I only have driven 8,837 miles in that year and a half! Does that make sense? That it only lasts for that long?!
Hi.. i have these pirelli scorpions on my Escalade esv and they are a great tire.. but dont expect to get 65k out of them.. i am ar 38000 miles now and will be replacing them this week with Michelin defender ltx..regular rotation and balances also..
Mileage is an issue. Tread runs out way before time. I have a 65,000 mile warranty but did not make it even 40,000 on this tire with two alignments and regular scheduled tire rotation and balances.
