my wife bought a 2018 GMC Terrain with 1400 miles on it but has different size tires on the front vs back. listed below.
(a) back tires are Achilles Desert Hawk 255-45R20 -105VXL
(b) front tires are Achilles Desert Hawk 245-45R20 – 99V.
what is the tire pressure that should be carried with these tires. Also will the different tire sizes in front and back, how will these effect the overall handling of said car.
Hey,
Installing tires of different sizes has an effect on the car’s handling. This is because the rolling radius will be different. While there won’t be any damage, this will mess up the cars differential. And about the tire pressure, let me research a little more and get back to you.
