Vogue Signature V Black SCT Tire Review & Rating
As the latest truck, crossover and SUV tire in their lineup, the Vogue Signature V Black SCT (SUV, Crossover and light Truck) has a number of new features going for it. For many years now Vogue has been quietly manufacturing some excellent touring and high performance all-season tires, and this newest release is no different.
It begins with their exclusive cutting-edge tread compound that is silica infused and designed to provide increased traction and more responsive handling. The tire’s broader shoulder elements enhance cornering performance and sharpen handling on streets and highways.
Four wide circumferential grooves and a unique advanced tread pattern deliver improved grip when driving on wet pavement. It reduces the risk of hydroplaning at higher speeds, while also increasing overall braking performance.
One of the mainstays with Vogue has always been their attention to ride comfort. The Signature V Black SCT takes things to a higher level with their Vogue Tech Comfort Ride and Whisper Tuning technology. You’ll find a much smoother and quieter ride than on most other tires in this class.
Inside the tire are two steel belts with a polyester cord body that provide added strength and durability. Vogue is also known for their craftsmanship and it shows here in this latest design. The Signature V SCT has a 460 UTQG rating and comes with a V-speed rating. Sizes range from 18-22 inches and this model also includes a 60K mile warranty.
- Excellent dry and wet traction
- Very good handling and cornering performance
- Smooth and quiet ride
- Winter traction
Vogue tires seem to slip under the radar for the most part, but this new Signature V Black SCT line looks to be set to change that. While this model does not feature their unique gold sidewall design, it does have the type of performance you look for in a UHP all-season tire.
Traction on dry and wet roads is what you come to expect from a high-quality tire like this model. It delivers a confident feeling behind the wheel in all types of road and weather conditions, with the exception of rough winter weather. As with most every UHP all-season tire, they obviously are not designed to handle heavy snow and ice like a winter tire.
The ride on the Signature V is a pleasurable experience. It’s smooth and quiet, which is not really all that surprising since it’s a Vogue tire. We rank it as one of the best when it comes to ride comfort.
Overall, while perhaps not providing the type of brute cornering and straight line performance you find on some tires in this category, the Signature V SCT is a quality UHP AS tire that doesn’t disappoint. For drivers of high-end SUV’s and crossovers it makes a solid choice.
