Toyo Versado LX Tire Review & Rating

The Versado LX touring all-season tire from Toyo is designed to provide year-round traction and handling as well as excellent ride comfort. Engineered for drivers of coupes, sedans, minivans and other vehicles, the Versado LX sports an attractive tread design and longer lasting tread life.

A silica-enhanced tread compound and asymmetric, non-directional tread pattern provide added traction on both dry and wet pavement. The tires larger contact patch further increases traction capabilities.

Four circumferential grooves and multi-wave sipes around the tread enhance wet pavement handling, as well as reduce the risk of hydroplaning. The tire’s silica compound also aids in wet traction. A high-density sipe design on the inside portion of the tread provides biting edges for better grip on wet streets and in light snow.

Toyo’s Silent Wall technology in the sidewall of this tire reduces the road noise and provide a more quiet ride. This is an area mentioned often in other driver reviews and ratings for this model.

Inside the tire you will find a twin steel belted construction that adds strength and durability at higher speeds. Ride comfort is increased through a polyester cord body. Toyo backs the Versado with an 80,000 mile tread guarantee on T-speed rated sizes.

Overall Thoughts

For a lower costing touring all-season tire, the Versado LX fits in nicely. We like the comfortable ride and the fact that this tire offers one of the more quieter rides in its class. Cornering grip is more than adequate for most drivers, but for more spirited drivers like ourselves we would like to see a little more coming from the tire in this area.

Dry and wet traction are fine, as is light snow handling. Performance in heavier snow or on ice is an area that could be improved upon. Finally, tread life is excellent on this tire, evidenced by Toyo providing an 80,000 mile warranty. Overall, we rank this model in the upper half of this class.

Warranty

Toyo provides an 80,000 mile tread warranty on all Versado LX T-speed rated tires.Tire uniformity is guaranteed for the first 1/32 inch of wear.

Materials and workmanship are warranted for 5 years and include free replacement for the first 25% of wear. A prorated amount is given for the remaining time period or down to the final 2/32 inch of tread depth.

Toyo also includes their No Regrets 45-day, 500 mile trial guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with the tires you may refund or replace them with another model.
