Pirelli Winter 210 SnowSport Tire Review & Rating

Combining snow and ice traction with winter driving performance is what Pirelli has done with the Winter 210 SnowSport. Developed for drivers of sport coupes and sedans, the 210 SnowSport features a low-profile design for driving through snow, ice, slush, rain and on cold dry pavement.

An advanced all-silica tread compound and asymmetric tread pattern combine with race inspired rounded shoulder blocks to give this tire added dry surface traction and cornering performance.

Variable tread blocks and transverse sipes provide biting edges to increase snow and ice traction. Wider circumferential grooves and independent intermediate tread blocks enhance wet surface traction and handling, while reducing the risk of hydroplaning as well.

Inside the tire you’ll find two steel belts with a spirally wrapped nylon reinforcement for added strength and durability. Please note that Pirelli recommends installing this tire in full sets of four tires only.

Overall Thoughts

The 210 SnowSport gets you through the deep snow, ice and rain with the best of them. Acceleration and braking are both good on this model, and the dry grip is excellent. Road noise is not that bad for a snow tire. The one area, based on other driver reviews, that could be improved upon is traction in light snow. Other than that, this Pirelli winter tire performs well and makes a good choice in tires.

There is no mileage warranty on the 210 Snow Sport, however, you will find a one-year or first 2/32 inch of wear guarantee on the tire’s uniformity.

Materials and workmanship are warranted for an unlimited time period and include free first or first 2/32 inch of wear tire replacement. Pirelli prorates the amount after that down to the final 2/32 inch of tread depth.
