Milestar SL309 Tire Review & Rating
The Milestar SL309 is designed to provide dependable all-season handling and performance for drivers of pickups, SUV’s and crossovers. Using a CAD designed tread block design, the SL309 maximizes on-road traction and minimizes outside road noise.
The all-season tread compound is made to increase dry and wet handling, as well as enhance cornering stability.
Wet traction is increased through multiple sipes around the tread and the circumferential grooves. It not only adds better traction, but also reduces the risk of hydroplaning.
Inside the tire you will find a steel belted construction for added strength and durability. It also provides better treadwear and a longer treadlife.
- Dry traction and cornering are good
- Wet handling
- Tire has above average snow and ice performance
- Comfortable ride
- Value priced
- Treadwear could be a bit better
Another dependable tire from Milestar. The SL309 has predictable wet and dry handling. Nothing spectacular, but just your good everyday type of tire. The ride is comfortable and noise levels are not an issue. Treadlife is not bad, but could be better. Overall, the value and price of what you get make this a good option in truck/SUV tires.
