Michelin Increasing Number Of Premier A/S Tire Sizes

Jan 2015 – Michelin recently announced that it is increasing the number of sizes for their popular Premier A/S touring all-season tire.

An additional 41 new sizes will be added to the already available 32 sizes that were released in 2014. Michelin made the announcement at the Detroit Auto Show.

According to Scott Clark, chief operating officer for Michelin North Americas Small Tires, the Premier A/S has exceeded all sales goals and he expects sales will continue to surpass expectations with the soon-to-be released sizes.

The Michelin Premier A/S features several advances in tire technology including EverGrip, which is designed to enhance traction on wet road surfaces even as the tire wears down. Mr. Clark added that this new technology represents “a significant breakthrough in automotive safety”.

The Premier A/S is built to fit all types of coupes, sedans, minivans and crossovers, and comes with a 60,000 mile tread warranty.
