Ford To Use Pirelli P Zero Tires On 2015 Mustang GT

Pirelli Tire North America Inc. and Ford Motor Co. has announced that 19-inch PZero and P Zero Nero All-Season tires will be used as original equipment on the new 2015 Mustang GT model.

This latest announcement comes on the heels of Ford’s use of Pirelli tires on several other models like the Ford Edge, F-150 and the Expedition.

The new Mustang features three different engine sizes that include a V6, I4 Turboand V8 on the GT. Pirelli will be providing the P Zero in the following fitments for use on these vehicles:

  • 255/40ZR19 96Y P ZERO: front tire for Mustang GT and all around fitment on I4 EcoBoost Performance package
  • 275/40ZR19 101Y P ZERO: rear tire for Mustang GT used with 255/40ZR19 PZERO front
  • 255/40ZR19 96W P Zero Nero all-season: offered on I4 and GT
  • 265/35ZR20 99Y XL P ZERO: offered on I4 and GT
