The Weather-Master WSC from Cooper Tires is the company’s maximum performance winter tire developed for drivers of trucks, SUV’s, crossovers and larger sedans. Engineered with Cooper’s latest winter tire technology, the WSC is designed for extreme winter weather conditions and temperatures.

A silica tread compound is created to keep the tread more pliable in extremely cold temperatures for enhanced traction and handling. The tire’s aggressive and attractive directional tread pattern is also studdable for drivers who need maximum traction in all conditions.

Cooper utilizes their Snow-Groove Technology on the outer shoulders along with a high density sipe design to provide added grip and bite on snow, ice and wet pavement, while evacuating water from under the footprint to reduce the risk of hydroplaning. A continuous center rib adds stability and increases steering response on cold dry road surfaces.

Inside the tire you will find two steel belts that are reinforced with nylon for added strength and stability. Chamfered tread element points help reduce uneven tire wear while also eliminating more of the outside road noise. Cooper includes a snowflake wear symbol that shows you when the tire is worn to the halfway mark.

Cooper has developed an outstanding tread compound that gives the tire traction in all types of harsh conditions, and at temperatures that dip to below zero. Ride comfort is good and you won’t experience excessive road noise on this tire as well. We like the aggressive tread design and treadlife is among the best in this class. Overall this Cooper snow tire gets two thumbs up.

Cooper provides a limited warranty on the WSC. Tire uniformity is guaranteed for the first 2/32 inch of wear.

Materials and workmanship are covered for 5 years and include free tire replacement during the first 2/32 inch of wear. Cooper then prorates out the amount for the remainder to the time period.
