Continental VancoFourSeason Tire Review & Rating

Light truck tires need to be durable and offer consistent driving over long journey’s and in various weather conditions. Continental VancoFourSeason tires are made for medium-duty vans and trucks and are designed for year round driving.

They feature a range of on board technology to handle different road surfaces while maintaining durability and even tread wear throughout their lifespan.

Continental VancoFourSeason Tire Review

The VancoFourSeason has been designed to grip the road in both wet and dry conditions and they can be used for most of the year round. With special Continental technology to reduce road noise while maintaining comfort they provide a smooth riding experience over most road surfaces.

Tread wear is even and they can be found in sizes ranging from 15 – 16 inches, however, they don’t currently come with a tread life warranty but do have a uniformity warranty of 12 months and workmanship and materials warranty of 6 years.

Pros

  • Solid tire for wet and dry driving
  • Low road noise
  • Comfortable ride

Cons

  • Poor winter performance

Overall Thoughts

The VancoFourSeason delivers good traction in both dry and wet driving conditions, however winter handling is another story. The performance in snow is just not there for the most part. That being said, you can expect to find lower road noise and a pretty comfortable ride over long distances.

The tires are durable and have a decent treadlife, at least with regular rotations. Overall, while not a bad tire by any stretch there are some better options available.

  1. These tires came OEM on a Nissan NV200 SV mini cargo van which I don’t use commercially and have never carried a
load of more than 500 lbs.I just replaced the tires after 55K mi. using the same tires (Continental Fourseson Vanco 185x
60R x 15 because I could not find a better 6ply rated tire that would fit this vehicle. The tires are unsafe in snow and are
loud on rough pavement making it almost impossible to hear the radio. They handle and hold the road well on curves on
dry pavement, otherwise, I cannot recommend them for icy or snow conditions at any depth without chains.

  2. You are not the only one with this issue. I have a
(2016) Sprinterr rv and agree the continental four season tire wear is dimal. 45000 miles and the tires need to be replaced. My earlier (2006) had michilan tires and they went 70000.

  3. Have a 2016 4×4 Sprinter with 4 Continental VanCo Four Season tires that I paid Sprinter dealer extra for supposedly better winter tires . Sprinter gets stuck in 3/4″ of snow. I have driven in Northeast winters for 60 years and these are the worst tires I have ever owned for winter driving.
