Falken Set To Release Ziex ZE950 A/S UHP Tire

Falken Tire has just released the Ziex ZE950 A/S, their newest ultra-high performance all-season tire at the 2013 SEMA Tire Expo.

Created as the successor to the popular Ziex ZE912, the new 950 AS features Falken’s exclusive Dynamic Range Technology (DRT) that helps this tire deliver maximum performance in all types of climate and road conditions. According to Falken, this newest technology and added features provide an 18% longer tread life and 10% better winter traction than the ZE912.

“Part of our job as a tire manufacturer is to address the needs of the market and listen to the feedback we receive, not only at the dealer level but from consumers as well,” said Andrew Hoit, vice-president of marketing at Falken Tire.

“We allowed the market to drive the development points of the Ziex ZE912 successor and we took R&D to the next level. The Ziex ZE950 A/S is the most advanced all season tire we’ve ever put into the market and we’re positive it will be well received,” Hoit added.

The ZE950 A/S will have 95 different sizes available as it rolls out. We’ll be doing our own review on this latest model in the coming weeks and adding it to our FalkenReviews section. That said, at first glance this new tire looks to be a nice addition to the Falken lineup and a more than worthy successor to the current ZE912.
